Aruna Ladva – The Author

arunaladva for book 3_smallAruna’s first encounter with spiritual truths and experience of meditation was at the age of 8. Her deep personal experiences led her to realize her purpose by the time she was 14. For over 30 years Aruna has been practicing meditation and has become an accomplished spiritual author.

Aruna is fortunate to have the blend of both cultures – the East and West! She was born in Kenya, educated in England, worked in Canada, and has lived in various other parts of the world and travels regularly to India.

The gift of a contemplative mind and her deep search for truth has enabled Aruna to focus on her personal soul-journey. Aruna’s writing was inspired by the teachings of the Brahma Kumaris (, where she studied the gentle art of Raja Yoga Meditation. She is one of their experienced and dedicated teachers helping to promote this yogic art. Aruna also facilitates retreats and trainings, and manages various self-development projects.

PrintAruna has helped to establish meditation centres in Vancouver-Canada, Istanbul-Turkey, Manama-Bahrain and Kuwait City-Kuwait.  Aruna’s interest in the study of the ‘self’ has led her to explore different ways of creating a peaceful life, through the balance of a natural and vegetarian way of living combined with meditation.  As a Certified Negotiator in Conflict Resolution, Aruna works to promote inner peace and harmony.  In her own way she has become a peace ambassador.

Aruna’s clear intellect and insight helps to convey spiritual wisdom in a way that is easy and accessible, with a style and language that speaks to everyone.  Aruna has launched FOUR books: ‘It’s Time… for Relationships’ , ‘It’s Time… for Change’ and ‘It’s Time… for Self-Empowerment’ – a collection of beautiful inspired writing that covers a wide range of topics. And ‘Conflict Resolution’, a self-published workbook that will help you manage most of your conflicts!  This is Aruna’s gift to you and you can download a FREE copy from the home page.  (click here)

Aruna began blogging February 2010.  She has been writing an article a week ever since.  Articles are now being translated into Hindi and Chinese languages – you can now view them on the blog too.  Subscribe to her successful blog ‘It’s Time…’, at

    Dear Aruna,
When sister. Helen sent me email about It’s time, and your picture are there, so instantly come to my mind to write you an email and tell you that I have been impressed to you since 20 years ago.

When I was in Madhuban, I met you in the market buying phasmina, and we had quick chat at that time and remembered your name Aruna, came from Turky. At that time I was impressed, because young, energic and very kind soul, also inteligent and very spritual young lady. I was thinking at the time how blessed if you were in Indonesia and gave lessons about Baba’s knowleges to young generations. Because if you could manage living in Turky, same style living in Indonesia, It would be very successul campaign for Baba’s GYan.
But my dream never come true, and never met you again even in Madhuban.
Surprisely the one that I impressed, the picture come out through Sister Helen’s Email…. Woww it’s a very well drama that I can keep in touch with you. Hope you are not shock receiving this email, because I am very sure you don’t recognize me… But at least I still remmber your face, even you are getting mature and wise.
