Aruna Ladva – The Author

arunaladva for book 3_smallAruna’s first encounter with spiritual truths and experience of meditation was at the age of 8. Her deep personal experiences led her to realize her purpose by the time she was 14. For over 30 years Aruna has been practicing meditation and has become an accomplished spiritual author.

Aruna is fortunate to have the blend of both cultures – the East and West! She was born in Kenya, educated in England, worked in Canada, and has lived in various other parts of the world and travels regularly to India.

The gift of a contemplative mind and her deep search for truth has enabled Aruna to focus on her personal soul-journey. Aruna’s writing was inspired by the teachings of the Brahma Kumaris (www.brahmakumaris.org), where she studied the gentle art of Raja Yoga Meditation. She is one of their experienced and dedicated teachers helping to promote this yogic art. Aruna also facilitates retreats and trainings, and manages various self-development projects.

PrintAruna has helped to establish meditation centres in Vancouver-Canada, Istanbul-Turkey, Manama-Bahrain and Kuwait City-Kuwait.  Aruna’s interest in the study of the ‘self’ has led her to explore different ways of creating a peaceful life, through the balance of a natural and vegetarian way of living combined with meditation.  As a Certified Negotiator in Conflict Resolution, Aruna works to promote inner peace and harmony.  In her own way she has become a peace ambassador.

Aruna’s clear intellect and insight helps to convey spiritual wisdom in a way that is easy and accessible, with a style and language that speaks to everyone.  Aruna has launched three books: ‘It’s Time… for Relationships’ and ‘It’s Time… for Change’ – a collection of beautiful inspired writing that covers a wide range of topics. And ‘Conflict Resolution’, a workbook that will help you manage most of your conflicts!  This is Aruna’s gift to you and you can download a FREE copy from the home page.
